You can definitely put me down for one.. :) Also, I have no problem paying the extra for the 5% accuracy. There is no other meter in this price range that offers all of the features this one does. Thanks for putting this together ;)

I agree with you on the meter. It is truly the best deal out there, with the range extender up to 1W, and the plotting ability... this thing is be amazing!

I will pay the actuall extra costs for international shipping.
Kind of used to it, always to pay few bucks more for shipping.. good thing the dollar<>euro rating is in my favor :D

Yeah the 5% is a definate, why they would offer it at 10% at a slightly cheaper price is beyond me...

Count me in for sure.

Now then does anyone want to buy a Coherent LaserCheck only a few months old (;

Yup, and the ability for software upgrades and a backlit display. But like you indicated, I think the plotting ability is the best feature of all :)

Uhm, I should be in but, what software do you use to datalog this?
Also, I would require shipping to South Africa.

Just for clarification, the price of the $34 range extender does include the 5% calibration or is the calibration cost additional? Are we looking at roughly $200 for the unit and range extender with calibration assuming 10 or more are purchased?

If so, count me in! Just wanted to get a rough confirmation first. And I am in the US if that makes any difference.

From reading up on this it looks like you capture data with Windows Hyper-terminal to a text file and then import that in to something like excel to do plot charts.

I think there has been enough interest to be able to call this an official GB :) I don't know what you want to set as a deadline. Thanks.
 
Do you have to Order the Data Cable as well? I'm not really interested in saving the Data, I just want to test the ones I have and will make and see what the output is.

Wiz --

These meters are quoted as the basic meter alone. The ND-8 attenuator filter, data cable etc are additional cost add ons. You can always build up a cable later if you wan to have it.
If you are or plan to work over 100 mW --- you WILL need the ND-8. I have posted pictures of a simple mounting method for the filter.
