Sounds tempting but in the end it would probably be much more of a hassle then it would be worth.

Nebiros:

The risk will be that potential buyers may not like your 'design' or chosen enclosure and then you'll end up having too much stock on hand which you'll find hard to clear.

There's also the complication where when we DIY a laser we know how to operate them within its duty cycle but a potential customer may just buy 1 off you and burn it out and start demanding for a refund.

Just ordered 5 of these. This means I'm waiting for 15 laser diodes from daedal.

This is a 2 week notice on closure of payment. I am now waiting on a handful of people who promised to pay/order within the next few days.

The closing date for all orders is set to the 11th of March. The website will be closed at that point and no more orders will be accepted.

Which do you think will be more powerful. These phazors or the mitsubushi diodes I got from a GB at PL.

Ouch...with an open can I get a reading of only 2.8 volts running at 350ma's. We will have to wait for more testing on these phasers.

Not trying to rain on anyone's party, but if your are going to spend $30 + shipping on these GB Phazor Diodes, why not spend a few more bucks and buy the Aixiz 200mw (CW) 650nm laser Diodes directly from Aixiz Lasers on Ebay? They are the same size can (5.6) but are 200mW CW (350mW Pulsed). I already bought one & they still have 292 in stock NOW. They cost $40 plus $2.50 Shipped Priority Mail =$42.50

And since they aren't a GB, you can get it in 2-3 days.

I know DDL is well trusted. I just prefer more bang for my buck! DDL's LDs are a good deal, but they only have a max CW rating of 130mW, where AiXiz's LDs have a max CW rating of 200mW. ;D
