I've recently given my laser warning label generator at Safe Lasers - Laser safety information and free warning labels. an overhaul.
I went out and found the requirements for laser warning labeling (here) so I could modify my warning label generator accordingly. I'm going to put together a "Laser Radiation Emitted from this Aperture" template soon.
I made a few key changes. Firstly, it defaults to red as the beam color on the label (this is per 21 CFR requirements) unless you specify otherwise. It has two inputs for wavelength: one for the plaintext wavelength to display on the label, and one to describe the beam color on the label. This allows labels to be generated for things like multiline Argon systems, whitelight Krypton systems, and projectors (you can enter things like 457-528).
The "system type" field now has a text box to enter a custom system type. This allows the generator to support things like "Diode/DPSS."
Standard label:
Pulsed laser:
Multiline laser:
Projector:
Hopefully this will be more helpful to more people.
