After a long wait, they finally arrived: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10005740/1444315-td-eg-02-laser-protection-safety-glasses

I purchased two of these to have around for friends. Both of them arrived with some visible scratches on the inside and smudges which can't be seen easily but are there, on the outside. While these don't interfere with using them it was certainly annoying. They will take them back...or give me a $4 coupon if I keep them. They were wrapped in a thin plastic...so I don't know how this happened other than to say...cheap is cheap!

The only reason I am thinking of keeping them, or at least the one that has only a small "smudge" is because I suspect the replacements will either be no better or worse.

Did they come with a case or just wrapped in plastic baggy? I bought the same pair and they came in a case. I bought them as a backup for friends to to my HDE red pair. No I havent tested them with a meter but I think they work better than my HDE ones on my 1W 445 blue. If you can work with the smudge I think they are great for the money. Just dont buy the blue glasses they have that I got for red lasers, like I mentioned on another thread, those blue ones are obsolutly useless
