I just got this laser two days ago from the GB Niko arranged. Thanks Niko, Steve and other participants, btw. And, I want to say that I really like the design and I am sure it is more stylish and modern looking than any other laser I currently have.
Mine is quite stable, especially as portable lasers go, and is averaging around 150 mW which pleases me a lot as well as the body seems flawless enough, that with my glasses on, I seen no spot or item that is imperfect. I suppose, if I got really overly picky, the pen clip does not line up perfectly with the button top of the interlock, but it is close and does not bother me one bit. And I see no marks mars or unevenness in the anodizing and logo, so, I'd call the finish flawless.
I am sure from the other reviews, that I got lucky on this next detail, my unit's beam is near perfectly concentric with the body. It seems to be so straight that I will need to build a set-up to measure the very small deviation that I presume must be there. Also I have not measured divergence, but I do believe the divergence is near ideal for indoor use, the dot looks to be about 10 mm at 30 feet using goggles, and these lasers are likely tuned for use indoors as opposed to use at infinity, for which, I believe it could be a little better focused if that was the objective, and in that case I think the outermost window would likely also be better removed for the best long range low divergence, although it too, I am glad to have for most all of my uses.
All in all I think the beam "ON" indicator LED light, (which is well placed and not too bright), the interlock (which is non-obtrusive), and the protective outer window are some of the best improvements found on portable lasers in recent years. I would score this laser a near perfect 10 from all my use and observations thus far.
I'll try to take some better and or more pics ASAP
