Hello everyone,
It was time I last posted something here,
Yesterday I found my laser I didnt use for like 2years ago, the host was from @Ehgemus and it was cooling on an aixis module an ~900mW 445nm diode ; and the problem seem I cant get to open it, got a fresh pack 100% fully charged 4205mV of Sony VTC5a 18650 inside and nothing is happening. I've put the host on the bench vise to try to see if him open or not, but ended only to scratch him

I literally think the wire from the diode got cut cause of the turning of the lens on it,

now

Im asking

is there in the EU (europe) that could look for it and fix it for me? or maybe is there in the same country as me that could help about me(italy)?

or is there anyone that would buy it from me? I dont even remember to have it in my house dont know sincerely how much I would still need to be in these laser scene, but as far I remember I spend a few money on it.

I can guarantee 100% that the diode is still working, the problem is only the wire, and the fact I cant get to open the host.

Please clean the connection points of the host, most likely dusty or rusty made the device inoperable

Why put it in a vise and ruin a nice host if your even thinking of selling it??
Up top it looks like it has a set screw on the side. Loosen that set screw and the module should slide out.
It probably has Thermal paste on the module and host, so be careful not to get it on the lens. Pull it out slowly and no twisting.
You should then get an idea if one of the wires is broken.

the funny part is that that screw got lost, so it dont get open? the only way is to just slide out the module?

The screw inside the host or the little metal allen key wrench got lost? It looks to me that the screw is there.
Any hardware store sell's the little wrench cheap. You will not take that module out without loosening that little screw.

I dont have my soldering right now, will let you all know when I fixed this, the case will be positive so I would need to solder the positive to the copper module?

btw still open on offers

If you might want to sell it, show us the damage from the vice.

Considering you are using a switching driver here, it is not likely the diode is case positive. That couldn't work unless you isolated the diode. I don't see signs that you did this,. so it is not a positive case diode.
