I guess it would be safe to just call it 1W+ laser, but that would make pricing a little tricky because I would have to sell this laser having in mind that it only outputs 1W, and pricing it accordingly.
I guess investing in a LPM would not be such a bad idea after all. Especially if you see yourself in this hobby years from now.
It's never a bad idea to own an LPM!
It's strange, I've observed sales threads, and it seems like the people who say "I don't know the output power, but it's in the range of 1W to 1.75W" actually end up getting less for their laser than people with LPMs who can say "It's an LPM'd 1W laser". Counter-intuitive. I'd rather have a laser with the potential to be higher than 1W, than a laser I knew to be exactly that. But I think the uncertainty is what turns away buyers.
EDIT:
I just LPM'd my other two Mohgasm hosts at 1.62A with DTR's M140 and G2 lens. One peaked at 2.03W and the other peaked at 1.89W with a LaserBee USB 2.5W LPM.

Why? The OP doesn't have M-series diodes.
