Hey there!

Anyone heard of the new Energizer Titaniums?
How do they compare to the e2 Lithiums?
Ironically, about 2 months ago, I thought to myself "it is about time for Energizer to come out with titanium based batteries".

If you're talking about these:

They're old news. Back in the day they were recommended for use in the WL pulsar models because the damn thing didn't have a driver. There was a chance it would blow if used with regular e² lithiums. I still have four of them and it says right on the battery:

ALKALINE

Treat them as such. It's just another flavor/brand/marketing ploy, nothing special.

Have they discontinued them? If you go to their site all the Alkaline E2 are discontinued and replaced with advanced lithium.

I have no idea whether it is marketing ploy tough, thats like saying lithium is a marketing ploy.

It probably is just a marketing ploy.
People want to see something new, so when they see titanium, they go nuts :P

So, are they like the higher end alkaline batteries?
It would be nice if they actually made titanium based batteries.

I've used them, and I'd say they're between Energizer max and e2 lithium as far as performance.

^Pretty subjective, don't'cha think?

Their lithium batteries DO use lithium. Their titanium batteries do NOT use titanium; titanium is just what they call that specific line of alkalines.
