This guy is one of the greatest physicists of our time. He is a excellent teacher, and has a way of explaining things that is unparalleled. You have to watch into about session 6 or 7, and then things really start to click. He has a way of explaining without math. Its nice to find a teacher with his enthusiasm. This is the one of the guys they hired to solve the first space shuttle crash, and he worked on the first atomic bomb. There are Feynman videos, books, and audio tapes at any level you want, from elementary school to postgraduate. Enjoy!

Session 1 is a little boring, but he grows on you, the more you watch. Session 7 handles the mirror paradox, and his explanation really clicks home. Sadly he is deceased.

Thanks for sharing that. I agree, he would have been a very nice teacher to have.
Basic analogies can often teach students better than dry facts.
 
Must-read lecture from Feynman: "There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom" Feynman's Talk

Read it, and keep in mind what computers look like now, and then keep in mind what computers looked like when he gave this talk, in 1959. This is what transistors looked like then (this is the first transistor ever made, yes that is a paperclip):

A pretty amazing read considering what his world looked like then and what our world looks like now. He didn't get everything right, but some of his prognostications are just downright uncanny.

Enjoyed the Feynman simplified explanations of the states of matter, with plasma being another. If we extend what he was saying about going from a liquid to a gas state, you can imagine atoms moving so fast that they are not only far apart, but impact in such a way(ionization) as to produce light/heat energy as in a flame or as extreme as lightning and stars. Plasma also is influenced by electric fields and can be shaped(lightning) unlike the ordinary gas phase of matter.
