Pound for pound, or dollar which is the case here, this pocket greeny ends up being the most expensive laser I've owned.
Only 75mm in length and 20mm in width, but at a cost of $200 AU just to build, plus about an hours labour for machining a heat sink, soldering etc it's lucky I'm not trying to sell these for a profit.

Slipped one of DTR's modules with driver set at 650mA out of an RL-118, and straight into a D25C clicky still managing to run it off an IM-AWR 16340 and 3 element lens.
Still fits into the original EagleTac carry pouch so this one's a keeper I'm guessing.

Small, light, powerful, and with a carry clip to ensure it won't slip out of a pocket, this ends up being my favorite 515-535nm.

I'm surprised nobody commented on this. I think that laser looks pretty good, very compact and clean in appearance. The belt clip is a nice feature too. Pricey host though, compared to the common 10-dollar DX lights ;)

Is there a way to show us the heatsink you came up with, or perhaps the dimensions?

Nice build!

Thanks mate, yeah it was a tricky build, very small heat sink so short run times was necessary.
I will post pics of heat sink if you'd like.
I don't mind selling this host too if there is interest, would sell it with holster and a G2 lens for about $80AU.

Cheers.

Ah yes! I'm glad Marco Polo resurrected this since I missed seeing it. I am a huge fan of tight compact builds and this one looks very nice. I would also like to see what you've done for the heatsink. Good job man.

Great build ! It's funny because I bought this same exact flashlight thinking it would make a cool host. When it showed up it was such a nice flashlight I couldn't make myself tear it apart !

Ok. You convinced me :) Soon as I finish the 6 builds I'm working on I'm tearing my flashlight apart. I really like the small host builds.
Thanks for the pics !
