DX 30 plus new driver?

Would it be possible to hook up a DX 30 diode to this driver and use it in a laser projector?

it should work as long as the driver is set up properly, but you'd also need to make a way to cool the laser since they're not designed to run for more than a minute or two at a time

Why would you need to use a driver for the dx 30? Have you broke your board? Do you mean power just the diode or the module? Take a look at rog8811s setup http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1193074747

What I am looking to do is use the DX 30 in a laser projector. I want to be able to use blanking on it though so I thought I could possibly use this driver since it has TTL input. And for the heat problem do you thing just some heat sinking plus the fans that will be in the projector be sufficient?

Ah TTL, fans should be ok, but a few of people the here are buying up tecs as a way of keeping their modules cool.

well pseudo sells TEC's, or you could have a look on ebay. all you need is a TEC, a big heatsink, or heatsink with a fan and some thermal epoxy.
