i just bought a 150mw 532nm Glp, the beam is nice, but at night even at a short distance of maybe 40-50 yards the beam gets huge and the dot when i hit tree's is like the size of a basketball what could that be from and how do i make the beam tighter, and the dot smaller, i have rattleing in it, but i found out that was the lens, are those easy to change???

Sounds like me bro!!! I got a thread just like this below urs on beam divergance.

Mine rattles like urs and the dot is bigger than it used to be.

The rattleing i can guarantee it would be the lens, well atleast thats what mine does, that the cap off were the lens is and dont shake it hard just give it a little shake and see if the rattle happens,
 
Buy a new 1 from o-like :) or open it up and glue back the lens 3: return it for a re...

Sayin u just bought it tho? Not bein an expert on lasers...but this sounds like a BUSINESS ISSUE.

Id message those people and tell them they sent me a shitty product...and I want to exchange it ...or a refund. Like ..Airsplat. good guys..I got a shitty product. Broke in a week. I called em up..and they are like "we are so sorry ! you can pick any item of equal value...or we will replace it and its free" damn right...I got me an M4 airsoft instead of my mp5.

Call em up and raise hell. Its not being selfish. If you got a bad product then their entire quality control as an industry could be at fault. Lord knows how many other people have been screwed.

its not a shitty product for sure, i can stand by that, just the beam, is a little bigger, im thinking cause im really looking at it now that it could be the lens, cause it is loose and it could be on like a different angle or somethin, i bought it off a member on here lol :) thats how i know its not shitty,

Okay, can you take the aperture cap off and get me a pic looking into the lens? If the lens is the problem you can use a spanner wrench to adjust it, or have someone adjust it for you. I've had to do this on a few lasers, most recent being a NOVA lasers ALPHA 105.

I work at UPS. And man let me tell you ...you would not believe....what ive seen. one guy can only do so much, I make sure I take care of shit. But not everybody does. Shit busts open...people dont give a fuck..send it on its way ...shit will bust open ..oh ..send it to the sort aisle...the sorter guys will go "FUCK IT!!! supervisors yellin at us to hurry the fuck up!!! " and throw it on the belt...then the loaders are like "DAMNIT!! A busted damn package...oh well...il have to walk all the way outside and set this down and be behind..Illl just put it on the truck.." then the same shit happens again and it gets more fucked up and might loose some shit.

that last picture on the bottom, see were there is two tiny holes, what is that for cause i just tried to tighten it and it just kept spinning and now that top lens is lowered into the unit, (this is just the tip of the laser that seperates from the laser)

this inside lens is the one that is loose and rattles, it even will spin when i cleaned it? how do i tighten it?

uh, all you needed to do was to take the gold aperture cap off. In there you will see a lens with two holes on the aluminum plate its mounted on, bend a paper clip and spin that ring. Could need to go either way, youll just have to spin it until you get the desired dot.
