How long has it been since you ordered?

Was delivery time frame discussed, and what happens if they are not met?

If not, you really have nothing to be compensated for.

on the 18th I sent the payment

no time frame discussed, everything was good communication wise till i paid the $330 now the communication has just been roller coaster i don't know were my "product" is or when i'm gonna get..

i don't even know if i am getting or if i am waiting for the new version when that apparently comes out next month why accept my order send out my product then want me to wait for a new version..?

i'm not trying to flame JetLasers, i've heard is a very reputable member here, i'm just stating what is happening to me

gray has more people to deal with than just you.

he is prolly doing you a huge favor. JL is one of the VERY few companies that pays you back when a laser must be returned. because of this he cannot possibly be expected to send you anything less than the best laser he can.

Would you feel OK if they came out with a better product & you got the last of the older ones??

Jl is constantly trying to improve in every area. you should be thankful that they are wiling to ship there at all/ BTW do you expect a refund or another laser if yours gets siezed by YOUR customs??

it would be no fault of JL if it did.

If you DO expect a second laser to be shipped or a refund --then you sure as hell 'better go with the program'-- No company 'owes' a buyer another laser because of customs seizure. You will read that at the bottom of most every seller on ebay- you ask and pay for something to be shipped- that is where the deal ends for the company.


and the request for compensation??

if that were the 'rule' then I ask for compensation for having to read your complaints and replying for a guy that REALLY owes you no apoligy. You are already getting a forum member price. you WILL get your laser AND it will be one that you will like- and That, my young friend, is something worth the extra wait.

not the owner,
not the techs that build the lasers-
he cannot ship whats not totally ready.

It's been FOUR DAYS since you sent payment, and you're bitching that communication is poor and your laser hasn't shipped yet?

I can only imagine the number of messages sent considering you opened a thread, and responded on the subject ten times...

Did you even pay for overnight shipping or express processing of your order?

If not, you really need to chill out.

FYI
I know where Gray has been the last few days- although it none of anyone elses biz-
i will tell you that China Customs has seized a package coming in and want 300$ usd to get it back..
It contains a few lasers needing a fix and some $$ items gray bought to make his job easier (graphing LPM) and help out all customers including you jake.
Looks to me like everything is right on schedual- you said no time frame was mentioned- and so everything is perfectly 'on time' .

chill.. I have been involved with ~75 sales of JL lasers- we have to date only needed to refund ONE buyer.

all i was stating is wanted no about my order no one had to jump down my thrown and make me feel like a worthless piece of shit

well thats how bobhaha made me felt

i'm perfectly fine with waiting for a laser i could wait 3 months if i had to, it wouldn't bother me as long as i knew what was happening, and now i
know so it's fine.

if i cared about how long something was gonna take i wouldn't have brought an Arctic from WL

Good company or not, that's not how business should work and PayPal protects buyers from this crap. JL should have communicated with him, telling him they're going to cancel his order so they can ship out the new model. I understand JL wanted the best for him, but it's not right in any way to do this without the Jake's consent.

Ordered the 18th of March and started this thread on the 19th and you want compensation because Gray has not been availalbe on Skype.

Come on business is business not babysitting.

A week or so is very normal to receive your money, process your order, have a unit set up and tested, packed, and sent to the shipping agent---once at the shipping agent a few days before Gray gets back a tracking number ---every order takes time and several people?companies are involved--the payment processors, JetLasers, the shiiping agent and DHL Much work to do and orders other than yours to sort. That is my experience anyway and Gray is the best customer service/sales I have come acroos --one of the best at what he does.

I don't understand the shipped DHL but is canceling it part?

Did you indicate you wanted to wait for new model coming out maybe by mid to end of next month or somehow miscommunicate that.
Did Gray ask
you if that was what you wanted to do? If not tell him what you want.

If you want current PL-E, V3 version tell him that---if you want to wait for next version and want a refund rather than leave money on acoount until next version is ready --tell him that. Will not be a problem.

Gray is a good guy, very responsible, honest/fair to a fault and the lasers JetL makes are gems compared to what is out there.
Your money is in good hands and Gray would happily give you a refund, I am sure, if you want to wait and pay when next version is ready to ship.

Email Gray and sort out what you want and what is going on, ongoing.

You kind of missed the timeline didn't you?

Paypal allows for 45 days for a claim to be opened.

After a claim is opened more time for the problem to be resolved, and yet more time if more evidence is provided.

In this case he opened a thread to complain about lack of communications the VERY NEXT DAY AFTER ORDERING.

email is the best way to communicate with him--no skype---he can then review exactly what was said for clarity and so can you---does not generate confusion .

email Him and sort out what you want and what is going on, ongoing.

You must spread some reputation around before...
