OK, what does this mean... In regards to the link below, I asked the seller for the color of the laser and this is their response...

"itself it is IR but you can use crystal to make 532nm green laser and 473nm blue laser."

What are they talking about...?

green (532nm) and blue (473nm) as well as some other colors are made by taking an 808nm diode and pumping special crystals that convert the IR light to other colors - this process is known as DPSS
