Ok, who else is tired of buring their fingers because of having to reach inside to grab the small axiz focus adapter? Well im DONE. Here is an easy way to modify your lense to make yourself a focus adapter. BTW, this is Yobresal's Home build for which I have made an adapter.

This is what I'm sick of:

This is how to fix it!!

Steps:

1.) You'll need to get these materials

Super Glue, Scissors, Electrical Tape, and your Axiz Focusing Head taken out.

2.) Start by adding a drop of crazy glue on the top of the knob you turn. Then, quickly start the tape there. Keep wrapping around until you get to the diameter you want.

Adding a AAA battery helps keep the end (where the laser is going to come out) TUBE-LIKE

When done, your knob should look like this:

I add some superglue to hold the tape in place, but be shure to not glue the battery to the tape! Just the tape threads to each other.(Look to where the green tip of the glue is pointing)

This is how it should look with the end glued

Then just thread it back into the Laser (makeing shure you didnt put too many layers of tape on!)

SOME FINISHED PHOTOS!!

Thanks for looking! Any suggestions? Please comment on what you think!

SORRY. Still working on getting the photos on here so u dont have to click a link every time. Any help?

Eventually i will, i really like your .30cal btw. But this is just a quick adapter for thos who want it, its nothing profesional, but ut works just fine.

Careful with cyanoacrylate based glues.

... Because the fumes will stick to the surface of your lens.
If applying super-glue to anything near an optical element, it is best to make sure the adhesive sets for a while before installing it. While the glue dries it lets off a lot of vapor.

that is a great idea, im going to try that out on my next home build :D
