This is my DIY 5Hz Green MegaWatt pulse laser gun.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMohqqJKPWc
I use KTP crystal to double freq. to get 532nm.
It has Cr-YAG as Q-switch.
I measured the laser pulse using nova II and found that one pulse's energy is about 100mJ with Q-switch.
Air breaks down into plasma when I use lens to focus laser beam.
Without Q-switch and with focusing, it can punch a hole on Razer Blade (one Gille).
Without Q-switch and without focusing, it can explode balloons at a distance up to 4 meters.
It uses RC model battery as energy source.
4s 8000 mAh RC battery can continue fire 7000+ shots.
It has thermal control system to let circuits under 40 degree C.
Water cooling system keeps laser head under 50 degree C and allows high speed firing.
