DIY - 15-20mW 635nm pointer

Hacked an LED flashlight. Put in a 15-20mW 635nm laser diode. Runs cool off 2AA batteries. More here:

does it need a driver board. where did you get the low powered diode, looking everywhere for them i am.

Supposedly this $15.00 diode (15mW @ 640nm) from alltronics is close to the sdl7501..
