How to extend a laser's burning range

Hi, I'm new here. I have a 500mw green laser. And I want to make a beam expander so that I could extend its burning range. What kind of lens should I buy?:thinking: thanks..

That was 2011 a lot has changed and my question wasn’t around beam expanders. Tho they play a role. And in this thread some one said the opposite. Delete the thread like every other one you gave to read thru too much be to get a simple answer.

For anyone who wants to make bank invest In the stock hcmc its selling for.0017 as of writing this. There in a huge lawsuit and expected to win and shares to go from 1-4 dollars in a year after it settles.

Makes sense if what he means by "The answer to this question wasn’t hard I find it pathetic you couldn’t figure it out." is by some stretch of imagination, that none of the correction lenses on this planet can increase the power output of the diode in the Zeus laser he invested in one iota. I doubt however that is what he meant even though it can be read/interpreted that way. lol
