This article here basically states they're taking a "hands-off" approach and are not interested in changing anything. Basically paid for the rights to the characters/merchandise/licensing. Where all the real money is. I am, however, interested to see these movies in Disney3D if they do so.
I see a few animated children's superhero movies in the future. Disney might be hands off now, but what if Marvel produces a couple of box-office bombs? By this point the economy could've slid further into recession. Now Disney is desperate and needs money. However its not like there hasn't already been Marvel comics, on TV and in straight to Blockbuster movies.
If they really do go for the "hands off" approach, then the movies could still be good. Plus you might get some more interesting rides at Disney Land, who knows. Too bad I didn't have any Marvel stock before this happened. Oh well.
