diodes

wow they have quite a selection! they have a few typing errors in there, like calling 640-680 blue ;D

The prices on the blue diodes are going to be way too high for any hobbyist to buy. Man I would love to play with the blue diodes and maybe some high powered violet ones.

HOLY ***** ;D $1908.00 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well it looked like a good deal :o :o :o :o :o :o srry bout that guys thought it looked good :-[

engineering samples are always expensive, since the entire product is basically custom packaged for you in the cleanroom.

the price/performance gets a little better at the 200mW 405nm side: $2600 ea for 10.

yea, I was curious on their cheapest violet pricing available on orders under 100 units:

Sanyo DL-3146-151 (405nm @ 7mW 5.6mm) Laser Diode (AVAILABLE IN STOCK)

For 1 pcs ------------ $845.- USD/per unit
For 10 pcs ------------ $795.- USD/per unit
For 25 pcs ------------ $760.- USD/per unit

Nichia NDHV310APC (400-415nm @ 60mW 5.6mm) Laser Diode (delivery with in 2 weeks)

For 1 pcs ------------ $2100.- USD/per unit
For 10 pcs ------------ $1975.- USD/per unit
For 25 pcs ------------ $1625.- USD/per unit

sad thing is, the 473nm are about the same prices, which would you prefer? I emailed back complaining, and mentioned the PS3 LD's price in the group buy.
