Dilda diode

Does anyone know what current to run a dilda diode at? I was going to replace the diode in the dilda with a stronger one....Ill save the one that comes in the dilda for another time...I believe it is a "phaser diode"....Correct me if I am wrong..

Uh muff -- Measure the current you have now. That's the current to run it at.

I dont have a dilda next to me...havent bought 1 yet...Im just wondering in advance...Just put my DMM probes on the existing driver and see what its set at?
