Yes completely pulled the lens assy apart wouldn't want dust or a scratch on that high quality lens

As for all the filing, grinding and cutting.. i guess you should notice that a standard aixiz lens has the exact same tread and fits into this laser body nicely. If you use the one with the focus grip ring, its easy to ajust as well
