So after waiting a month to finally receive my DEVIL Rifle V2 405nm 500mW, it quit working after 5 minutes. I fully charged the batteries and it was working great for a few minutes, I followed the 60sec on 60sec off duty cycle, didn't drop the laser or anything. I assume I will be sending it back once I receive a reply from Max. Has anyone else had issues with their V2 Rifles or had to send a laser back to Lazerer? I'm just curious about how long I should expect this process to take. I'm pissed that I spent so much money on this laser and I got less 5 minutes of use out of it, I really hope this isn't typical of the quality of LAZERER.

I'm sure Max will do everything he can to make sure you're not waiting too long for a replacement.

He should be getting back on top of things after the holidays so processing times should drop down again.

Ordering in the last 2 months is just bad timing with Chinese holidays.

I've done a little research and I think it may be the tail cap, I noticed some people having the same problem. Hopefully that's all it is and I can receive a replacement from Max.

To test if it's the tailcap what you can do is put the battery in and instead of a tailcap use aluminum foil make sure the foil is touching the end of the battery and inside of the host also make sure the battery is in right. :D

It's either that or the driver is junk. Both of my rifle lasers have driver issues.... One driver is completely dead

Dumb question; did you charge your batteries first?

Max doesn't ship charged batteries (charged Li-Ions are 4.2V, they ship at ~3.3V). The cheap chargers he sells usually take about 4 hours to charge the batteries and you have to charge them one at a time.

Also the cheap blue trustfires he sells are often defective, I had to buy good quality AW cells for my rifle - one of the trustfires I got has less than 300mAh capacity.

Also, stop posting in every freaking lazerer thread. You made your own thread - that's where it goes.

He shipped my LZPL with a charged 16340, but it was @3.7V and not the full 4.2V. But I agree the batteries are not top quality. AW's are the way to go.

I got some orbtronic batteries for mine they work great and the costumer service was outstanding.
