This is the third time I have build this driver.I need to know what i am doing wrong. With the dummy load I have it set at 3 volts and the mv is reading 35.8, which = 358 ma's right or wrong? Every driver i have built seems to have the same problem. I have to turn the pot more than half way up to get a notice of any light coming out of the LD. For it to burn it has to be all the way up and the volts are reading around 3.40. I've been working on this for 2 weeks now and can't get it right. Please help! Thanks Mike

You will need to remind us of the following.
What input voltage?
What LD?
What is the value of the set resistor?
What is the value of the pot?
What resistor is in the test load?

I have it set at 3 volts
unless you have configured the driver as constant voltage, you are not setting voltage you are setting current[/edit]
