Are there better optics available ?

And if not what is the best that can be done at the moment ?

And why did you have to pop the window on yours

And is there anyway for me to avoid having to do that with mine as well ?

That's what I like to hear ! lol :eg:

C lenses and a beam expander. There are some builds with the 44 using more advanced optical setups you will have to search them out. I popped the window because something got on it and burned itself on. There is a lot of power going through that little window. Im enjoying the single mode diodes a lot more lately. Lower power smaller builds. A lot more fun to play around with and build.
