I just wanted to let everyone here on LPF. In honor of our new web-site, we are having a 20% off sale on all existing inventory. Dark Horse Custom

We have a limited-number of DJR-kits available (host, heatsink, battery, Aixiz-module), lots of "DJR-Full body V2 heatsinks" for the Dorcy Jr build and also a few of the "Sliver full-body heatsinks" for the Cree C3 build DealExtreme: $14.69 Ultrafire C3 Stainless Steel Cree Q5-WC 5-Mode 190-Lumen Memory LED Flashlight (1*AA/1*14500).
When the Sliver heatsinks are gone, we will probably not make more, so get them while you can:)

Hey you never contacted me again about the pics! How did it go?

What kind of heatsinking with the pensinks provide with a cni/optotronics running around or above 100mW? What kind of duty cycle would they have?

Thanks for the interest in our Pen-'Sinks. As far as data on thier performance, I have done no formal research, only that the beam-stability and power-curve both show significant stabilizing-effects.

Duty-cycle is not a science,as it is applied here. It is more of a rule-of-thumb recomendation. The stated "duty-cycle" from nearly all laser-manufactures, is thier best-guess and often-times a way of providing an "out" for future product-failure.

If you have a meter, you can gragh the power of your laser of the first minute after star-up, when the power starts dropping significantly, it would be a good time to let it rest.
I have a CNI 150 pen and it really helps ad some mass to this tiny laser-module.

Gooey Gus did a review of it a while back with some comparitive-readings.

Sorry Nikko,
I still need to add the special pictures that you enhanced for me. Charlie Murphy has loaded all of the ones on there now, as he was setting up the site, did a great job too. Blurayjunkie did the logo-graphics, thanks to you all. I would highly recommend your services:)

We have been so busy, but we have our new CNC-router "up and cutting".
