Daedal laser driver and sled

Hey all,

I just bought the PHR-803t and the laser diode driver (Laser Diode Driver - Laser Electronics DDL) and I am unclear on how to hook it up. Is there a wiring diagram for this somewhere?

Ok yea I have it hooked up now but nothing comes out. I have the circuit connected to the 9volt with the red wire, the green wire goes to LD+, and the LD- connects to the black wire which is also connected to the - on the batt. Any ideas? Sorry for being a complete noob. This is for a science class and my teacher (as I have come to realize) probably shouldn't be teaching because she doesn't understand any of this and I was hoping she could help....

The driver sold by DDL is actually a rkcstr driver. Look him up and I'm sure he can answer your questions.

Mr. daedal. i'm AAfusion from india.. i saw one video in youtube about laser cigar burner.. so i also want to do like that but with more power..

because i'm new to electronics i don know how to make like that.. can you clear my dout about lasers?!

here my doubts are..

on what basis u peoples selecting laser diodes.. is it depends upon output power or wavelength or input current capacity or anyothers?!
and how to make a 30mA driver circuit please help me..

and my one of my friend gave this laser diode part no is: "OPV302".. will it work for me to burn papers, lighting the fire works etc.. and how to design a driver circuit for this laser diode.. or shall i use laser diode which are used in DVD burners?!

I can tell by those 2 statements that you have not done
any research or reading on this Forum....
