Cylindrical lenses and blue lasers

Greetings,

I was just wondering if anyone has thought about correcting the rectangular profile of a typical blue diode laser, using a cylindrical lense? I've never heard of adjustable lenses of this shape, but maybe there is something?

Drlava was selling a set of Cylindrical lenses to correct
the multimode beam of a 445nm Laser Diode...
