Someone else should try this idea. Alright first of all youll need a clear balloon. then youll need to attatch a match to a string and dangle it in the balloon and blow. now all youll need to do is grab a laser and light that match! the expanding gases should cause the balloon to explode... I think. i tried it with a white balloon but white isnt good enough. if you get it to work please post videos!
 





Interesting. I will try this out once i receive my laser. But just a question. Why dont you just point the laser at the balloon? xD

I filled a whole trash bag up with that stuff and shot it with a bottle rocket oh boy that was awesome but kind of hurt my ears.

I can do this with propane (I do not have access to acetylene, and am not willing to use it)... I'll be messing with my 1W laser outdoors (safely) tonight; I'll post a video if it works. You, my friend, are a terrible influence. :crackup:

Geee... why don't you just jump right to lighting the fuse on a
stick of Dynomite with your Laser.... that should be cool... :tsk:

What's the purpose...:thinking:.. except maybe for trying to impress
children... and attracting attention by the noise and possible fire..

I can see this as just another reason for the "Man" to put a ban on
all Lasers...

Exactly....

You have the open space and life experience to be safe to do an
experiment like this like I do... (I've only got 30 Acres)...
Most kids with lasers live at home with Mommy...
I'm sure she wouldn't be impressed by the neighbors squawking
or calling the fire Dept or even the Cops...:cool:

Hangs head in shame for speaking before thinking.....

And 6000 gallons of water tank, several industrial pumps, a mile of fire hose, a dozen nozzles, etc...
