Not sure if I should stet a new thread with all this arctic hatred going on but I just received an email :)


"I am pleased to announce that G2 Arctic lasers have commenced
shipment. Customers will begin receiving their G2 Arctic lasers in
the order they have ordered it. I again apologize to customers for
the delays. We've learned a lot of lessons on how to expand
manufacturing and we promise we won't disappoint in the future.

I would like to make this up to our customers by continuing to
utilize laser technology to achieve revolutionary products.
If you've known us before you've seen how much we've already
changed the laser world and we are just getting started.
I appreciate all the customers who have patiently waited for their
orders and look forward to serving you again soon.

Yeah I got the same mail, however that is about as much of a confirmation as the original "G1 is shipping now" mail everyone got 2 weeks before they actually shipped some :)

Not ragging on you, but once again the realist in me says "I will believe it when I hold it" :)

Sadly if mine does turn up I will not know about it for 2 weeks as I am off to Kenya on safari tomorrow :)

Wow have fun!

Your probably right though but at least we are on to the next step of delays and excuses.

Maybe this really means "we have finished the design model which means we can start production on the g2's which means we will eventually start shipping"

I don't think Wicked lasers read emails, they only read the subject. I had an Sonic Ordered and was going to get the Expanded lens set for my Arctic and had refund in the subject, got an email back saying they are refunded. So since my Arctic is faulty, thought I would try either a refund or replament Arctic in the subject. Just hope they see refund and refund me, but doubt it, worth a try.

They don't seem to respond to anything other then refund. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
You won't be taken care of if yours is Faulty like mine, they don't respond. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to disagree, I have never, repeat never. failed to get a reply from Lou. I am just glad I have his email address. He seems to always reply within 4 hours or so depending on the time of day.

I take your point about faulty units however, my G1 is fine, unlike a lot of others I have read about.

I posted this in the other thread so I guess I'll post it here as well:

It's cut off after I asked how long it would take to arrive but he said as long as mine is in the 1st batch then I should get it within 3-5 days.

I EXPECT it wednesday lawl.

What this means is that they'll start shipping the g2's....At a rate of 10 per week.
 
Who cares??? We've already established that the simpler G1s are a POS. I'd expect these to have even more problems.
 
lol . . . about the only email I got from Wicked . . . amazingly they got my name right in the batch email . . . humph . . .
