Thanks to LPF, flaminpyro and jayrob. I have built my first laser.
It's a LPC diode running at 412ma, using the rckstr driver. This is set in a jayrob MXDL 4171.
I got to use my diode press and test load from Flaminpyro.
Thanks Flaminpyro!

For this module, I copied a build, Mohrenberg did for me.
I used a small spring at the bottom of the aixiz module. Separated by a rubber washer, for the positive input. The aixiz module is case negative.
I had jayrob remove the pill on his host, so it was just a big empty tube.
With the way I built my module. I did have to sand the paint of the lip of the host, where the heatsink fits. To allow a return path for the negative.
You cant see this because it is hidden under the heatsink.
I built my module this way. So that they are completely interchangeable. I can swap it out with the GGW build Mohrenberg did for me. Or any future module that I build. Plus if it ever dies I can just slide a new one in.
I had so much fun doing this. I think I'm going to like building them, more then playing with them.
Thanks LPF
