Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

Everyone who asked to be added or a change in number of lenses, you should be on the spreadsheet. Thanks, paul

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

I always thought the G was for glass.

What is the S for? :anyone:

I just made it up lol :)

As I will be selling these after the group buy ends .. :)

Note : just to make this clear. Price is $3 per lens.

Shipping for 50-250+- lenses is $40.

Pp fees are about %10 extra as we are making two transactions. First from all of you to me. And then I transfer it to the supplier.

At the moment we got 197 lenses not including my self. So it is :

$3 + 40/197 = $3.2

Add pp fees = $3.55 per lens

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact either Paul or me.

It is $4-$5 at most up to 12 lenses.

We will calculate the exact shipping price for everyone at the end.

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

Sorry if I missed it, do these lenses have a datasheet? Would be interested in comparing them to the G1/G2 specs.

Are any similar lenses available? Particularly, longer-FL, lower NA lenses suitable for collimating DPSS lasers?

Any other lens types available at all? I'm just curious because I'm using the AR-coated meniscus lens from the common 3-element as green laser collimators, they do work but it would be nice to buy such lenses separately.

Thanks! :)

Here it is :

As I see it .. It is possible these are the same as G9 lenses that come with the 9mm diodes.

I tested them with a BDR-209 405nm laser. Also tested it with some 445nm lasers .. I will post more results on Saturday.

For anyone who want to see how they look :

After this group buy ends . the price will be about $7 per lens through my website. We might do another group buy in the future for these.

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

Sorry, everyone. I had a lot to do this morning and I just updated the spreadsheet, so everyone can see their purchases. I also made some mistakes in my changing of the OP and had to go back and fix that. I think everything is done now, so by my calculation we are up to 221 lenses. Great work everyone!
We have officially crossed the O-Like group buy of 208 lenses! There are also the lenses that thejoker301 will order, so the number will be even higher still.

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

at this rate we will get 250 with ease, so what will shipping cost be for 250+? any ideas Eitan?

Re: Group buy on brand new S1 lenses

RYDorDIE278, the shipping price to Eitan will be $40.00 regardless of the number of lenses bought. The shipping price to you will be calculated before the end of the group buy. This will be posted so everyone will know what their entire cost will be. The shipping to everywhere has been estimated to be about $5.00 for up to and including 12 lenses. It may be a little more for members who have ordered over 12 lenses.
