Another lazy CNI head. Got one of those B&W TEK lab heads from nkgamer. nice head. but it wasn't TEM00. It started out as TEM 01 and then a skewed ovular TEM00 with two ovals above and below that didn't belong, so almost TEM02. it was output stable... but the mode was utter crap. realigned it and it's happily lasing at a round TEM00 now, and still its normal stable output with no power loss. :)

Pic of the inside: note the absence of 473 going back through the cavity. I cleaned it up so as much of the light was going through as possible with minimal losses.

Job well done, Kaiser!

Ha! I'll send you mine next if you're feeling especially froggy ;)

update: started tweaking. head is now easily several times brighter. it does take a tad longer to stabilize, but it still does. not sure how much more I can get out of it and keep it fully stablized without making a rig to adjust it while its running.

Arghhh, I really want that. I hope I magically get money soon, and I hope your offer still stands!

It has the matching PSU right? You just need to supply the 5v?

I can hang onto my other head for you so don't fret. I'm going to replace its IR filter first anyway. I don't have a second power supply, but I have drivers for each head, so I will give you a driver with it :) you can power it the same way you did your green one. Just need a 5V supply. Not positive how many amps.
