Laser has been purchased, no further offers will be accepted.

Title says it all. Looking for a 593.5nm, or 589nm, pointer (pen style) preferably at least 5mW. However, I'll consider any offers as long as they work and they're not lab units. :)

I need another 589 or 593.5 to use as a benchmark to find the wavelength of my schizophrenic 589. So please, if you've got a yellow pointer to sell, PM me.

Re: WTB: 593.5nm pointer

Bump. I made a deal with someone, but the package was apparently destroyed by customs on the way out of Australia. So I still need a 593.5nm laser, preferably pen style. I would also like it to be one that emits at least 5mW. Other offers will still be considered.

Update: I may also be willing to accept a 589nm pointer if the price is low enough. However I would much prefer a 593.5. :)

That sucks. :( RIP 593.5 pen. :cryyy:
I didn't even know that customs would check a package exiting their jurisdiction. :(

Well, fortunately customs did not destroy the package. He told me that as soon as he shows them the CNI paperwork proving it is <5mW, they will send it along.

Re: WTB: 593.5nm pointer

The guy with whom I made a deal has failed yet again, and as a result of his incompetence (or malice) I have filed a PayPal claim.

So I am still in need of a pointer at 589nm or 593.5nm. Preferably 593.5; however, I will accept either. Please PM me with any offers. Thanks! :)

593.5nm pointers are going to be A LOT harder to come by since very few still produce/own them. I know DL sells some 5mW 589 for around $319 which isn't too bad. However you have a 589 Spartan already so that may be a waste of money(to me at least).

Well, problem is that I don't know the real wavelength of my 589. When it stabilizes to a single line, it starts at a yellower line then shifts to a more orange one. I honestly don't know whether these two lines are 583.8/589, 586/589 or 589/593.5. I need another yellow in order to actually identify it.

Good 593.5 pens are pretty hard to come by. I got one from laserfanatics and it works but it's extremely unstable and sometimes quits lasing entirely depending on temperature and battery strength.

Yes - if cornered I will probably buy from them. But until then I'd much prefer to buy from a forum member. I asked Adam from DragonLasers if he could sell me one from CNI, but he hasn't responded in 4 days.

He should respond to you soon, it's Monday today in Asia. I forgot about you wanting to measure the lines on your Spartan, whoops. Best of luck Sta :yh:
