Class IV high speed wire marking UV laser

Wow! I work at a cable manufacturing plant. We use Ink jet printers capable of up to 600fpm for "only" $20,000. Is this machine that much better than an ink jet?

Yes, it is much better then using an ink jet to mark wires. I have complete confidence that you will still be able to read the wire numbers on the individule wires after 20 years in service on jets. Let's see if an ink jet marking machine can say that. I really don't think so. It is important that our wires stay marked for troubleshooting/repair later on. It can mark any wire from 30 gauge to 4 gauge, straight or multistrand shielded.

Ink jets can't mark anything smaller than about 24 AWG, but can go as large as you want.

I've always wondered how acft manufacturers knew what wire went where. Especially on larger acft. I was told the KC-135 has about 14 miles of wiring. I've worked on the C-5 and C-17 also. I don't want to know how much witing those have.

Your 3 phase is 240V? LOL, our mains power is 240V, our 3 phase is like 415V I believe. Pretty cool laser though, sure wouldnt wanna be under than thing while its going LOL!!!

You can get 3 phase in any voltage you want. I don't know what you would need 3 phase 440V though, that sir is alot of power. :o

Same here, our mains is either 230V or 240V and the 3 phase is 440V :o

OK, in the United States our mains are either 220V or 440V, all 60hz. Standard households pick off one leg of the 220V to run most of the home with 110V.

You can get 3 phase, 60hz in any voltage you'd like depending on the equipment you want to run. It can be 110V, 220V or 440V, all available in 3 phase (read expensive).
