Hi guys...what do you think on this?

I ordered a pair of Dre Beats headphones from an official reseller. Long story short, they got stuck in UK customs for over 10 days, I requested a refund which was declined, and then I get this shipping update today..

But, they HAVE to refund me now dont they? Paid on my visa debit card.

Time to start a claim with eBay/paypal if thats where you got them!
something smells fishy.

Get a hold of your UK Customs Service with the original receipt
with tracking number and that tracking sheet and find out what
is up.

At the same time contact the seller for a Refund and re-order
them after talking to the UK Customs service.

Hey... you never know... maybe the seller didn't like you and sent
a Bomb instead....:eek::crackup::crackup:

^^ you never know!

Cant find a number for UK customs though :(

I'd bet you were sold some counterfeit beatz headphones and customs figured it out.

counterfeiting is the highest form of flattery.

The Website is most likely selling copies/replica, the Original ones cost $300 i think, To stop counterfeiting Dr.Dre has blacklisted every seller from all arround the world that is using that name , See the official site for more details on blacklisted sites..
A friend of mine used to buy replica's off china and resell them.. he had to pay $6000 fine to the "company name" and also provide full information on the source he was getting the counterfeit product..

Here's a number and I live in Canada....

Yeah its not looking good :/

You should ask a refund asap.. And also report the site to the official site so other's dont suffer the inconvenience..

Hi ped,
Those were counterfeits you ordered, if the price looks too good (more than 25% off the regular price, then you need to look into it a little deeper).

No need to inform the real company about the website selling counterfeits, it's already been reported by someone else as that's how they got yours; the company was already on the watch list.

If you had used a regular credit card, you could contest the charges to your card, but with a debit card or especially gift card, then you don't have ability to contest the charges (well maybe in the UK you can, but here in the USA no way).

You could ask the seller to refund your money back to the card, but if they are dishonest enough to be selling fake goods, I doubt they are honest enough to give you your money back.

The best thing is to chalk it up as a lesson learned and hope UK customs doesn't fine or change you for importing counterfeit goods.

Yeah may just have to suck it up.

Odd thing was, It was an advert on Facebook, one f the official Facebook ad's that come up on the left...So I though "if its an official facebook ad..."

Oh well :(

It's not about price. There ARE some really good sales for the beats headphones, ie. on NCIX and of course they're legit. But it's very obvious when you just go to "Contact us". It's a blank form with no address, telephone, nothing.

Hi, as stated in my OP , they were bought from the official store Beats By Dr Dre Headphones,Beats By Dr Dre UK Sale Store

With my Visa debit card.

Dude that is a fake Beats store. You can tell when you go to "Contact Us" and it's just a blank form with no address or any contact info.

This is the real Beats store: Beats by Dr. Dre Official Site

And finally, it's not from China, it's from Singapore, which is rather surprising because Singapore usually makes quality legit products like Radeon graphic cards, CREATIVE mp3's, etc. And piracy is like 10 year sentence there.

Yeah I hear you Ryan.

Gonna see what happens anyway , A £100 sting will hurt, but its not the end of the world, and like has already been said, its a lesson learnt.
