I'm looking for a bright laser pointer with a visible beam.
The laser should burn, too.

At first i wanted to buy a green one. But they are very expensive.

How much mW do i need for burning and a visible beam with a red laser?

My budget is about 50$. Can you give me an advise for a good laser at this price?

(The color isn't very nessesary but i think the red ones are cheaper)

What about this one?

Edit:
It would be good if the laser usues 18650 or CR123 Batterys. I have both here for my flashlights.

Haha :D
I read some stuff from the forum.
But don't know which laser from the internet is a good and which is a bad one.
With a focusable laser it should be possible to burn with 250mW right?
Green ones can burn at 100mW....

mW=mW, it doesn't matter which color the laser is. If it burn at 100mW then any color will do.

The laser in the link seems good for the price.

Shorter wavelengths will burn significantly better at the same output.

Either of those red lasers will burn... just make sure you get yourself some goggles.

A friend of my father works as safety expert...he can buy safety glasses like laser goggles very cheap (over his company)
I will not use any laser over 5mw without goggles :yh:

I'd recommend that You buy this 200mW 660nm laser from BudgetGadgets.com.
Styropyro gave it a good rating, so it should be good.
If it's too expensive, then I'd recommend this
If You don't care about the price, and are willing to spend 100$ then should this be a good choice.
