Hello everyone!
After long waiting Ive received all things I needed to build that red laser. I would build a cheap red laser. Here is the list of all parts.
Survival Laser DIY C6 Host Assembly 10.89$+1$(drilled driver pill)
Survival Laser Red Anodized Aluminum Heat Sink 7.99$
10pcs Aixiz Standard acrylic lens 12.00$/10=1.2$ each
Aixiz laser module 5.6mm 4.50$
2pcs Contact board (cheap led driver) 2.77$/2=1.385$ each
Aixiz adjustable current laser diode driver 80-500mA w/TTL 3.75$
10pcs Red Laser Diodes ML101U29-25 29.98$/10=2.998$ each
Together 33.72$+shipping
Survival Laser DIY C6 Host Assembly
Survival Laser Red Anodized Aluminum Heat Sink
Contact board (cheap led driver)
Aixiz adjustable current laser diode driver 80-500mA w/TTL
Red Laser Diodes ML101U29-25
CR123A batteries
All together
I started with desoldering all parts from Cheap LED driver then I pressed it into driver pill. Then I pressed Laser diode into Aixiz module. Next step was to solder very carefully laser diode pins to Aixiz driver and the final step was soldering leads from contact board to laser driver input.
Then I screwed driver pill into host assembly body.
Then I screwed next part of the host.
After that, I put laser module into red anodized heatsink and I used allen wrench to tight it for the best heat conductivity.
And almost last step was to screw top part of the host. (be very careful because driver is too big. DO NOT TIGHT IT because you risk damaging your diode)
The final step is very easy, insert batteries in.
Assembled laser
I used electrical tape to fix those two spaces, because it wasn't tight and the body was unscrewing.
Now its time to capture some beamshot :lasergun:
I hope you like this cheap and small red laser build
