(I don't know that if this is the right section)
has anyone schematic of laser power meter at least 500mW (or 1W)?? (I have read the tutorial what used an IR thermometer, but I'm not sure about it) I don't want to spend a lot of $$$... -> I prefer cheap parts and simple schematic
thx

your best bet is to get a laserbee lpm.

benefits
1. its cheap
2 its already calibrated
3. can be put in a project box or other box you choose
4. its cheap(did i already say that??)

theres no good way to make an lpm that i know of that will give you as good of a result as a laserbee will.

Use the search link at the top of the page.

Short answer: schematics are around, but finding the parts, and calibrating the meter is the annoying part.
