Changing Host?

Has anyone ever seen someone change out the host for this cheap eBay/Amazon laser? One of the first I bought just to burn stuff. Now starting to think about custom builds and whatnot and really curious about making this look not ridiculous and more comfortable to handle.

I've tried to rebuild this host, and its internals into a new host and I ended up trashing it
It's much easier to build a new unit with parts that are meant to fit together in my opinion
