With the recent Casa projector GB done and the units already arriving its time to make a thread to show our new toys We have all seen Bruce's photos and now its time to add our own (Bruce you are still welcome to post yours here as well)

I'll start:

excuse the blown out colors, I'm still messing around with the settings and its not a DSLR so it wont be of Bruce quality

While I was waiting for it to thaw out, I voided the warranty and took a peek inside.

They look pretty nice inside. Better than I was expecting for $187 shipped!

Did you fire yours up yet?

Sure did. Looks just like yours by your pics. My attempt at creating fog/haze with glycerin isn't going as well as I'd hoped. Probably need to do some more reading.

I add about a teaspoon and get a hot plate set on high! Probably overkill but man it fogs up thick!

I have a $100 gift card from work for xmas, forgot about it. Was going to buy a fog machine and DMX controller but forgot about v-day so now that's going towards a gift for the GF and a thank you gift for helping with surgery recovery. Man I need to sell the heat sinks and some other crap. Still have some textbooks I need to sell. Must step my game up!

The iPhone does NOT do this projector justice, but it still looks pretty cool!

First video was awesome. Your going to love the DMX with that type of effect. You'll be able to slow it down to whatever speed you like. Or pause for some great pics.

So, how does the white look?

Here are some pics taken using only the Casa CTL-HM. A few have the mask, and a few have the glass sphere in them. These pics have not been posted before. Since I am the one who recommended this projector, I hope everyone is happy with it. So far that seems to be the case. Good luck to all with their Casa's!!!

I also hope the people that are (or will be using) the Chauvet Obey 40 DMX controller are also happy them too. For me, the Obey 40 does a great job of controlling all aspects of the Casa and is pretty easy to use.

Bruce, please keep adding your master work! It inspires the rest of us to get photos close to yours!!!!

So, how does the white look?

Impossible to say right now. None of the people who have their projector have a DMX yet and people with DMX have not received their units. In auto the colors move too fast to take the time to examine the white line/dot/beam. Will let you know as soon as I have the fogger and DMX
