Howdy folks! Its been a while! I've been out of the loop for a while and would like to find a quality 445nm laser around 3 watts.. Needs to be focus-able, preferably with a nice big easy-to-fucus ring. Price range needs to be around $220 or less.

Needs to be from a reputable company or builder who will ship in a reasonable amount of time.

Anyway, the one that has peaked my interest the most so far is this 3w version of the Kryton Groove:

I remember this host from back when I was posting here regularly several years ago. Looks really nice, but the only thing I worry about is the duty cycle and diode life since the heatsink is so small for that kind of output.

Just want to see what other options are available before I order.

Thanks!

Hi,
Try Sinner hosts to make you something. He will do CU for you check out his older items . This way you don't have to worry to much about cooling. I have some high power builds using his hosts.

Rich:)

As Lifetime mentioned, Sinner makes some great hosts, I have some myself; you could also have Ehgemus make you a custom host, then just add a diode/driver combo. in a12mm module from DTR's store.
