Skip to Bold if you want to save yourself a bit or reading.

I'm very new to lasers and currently I only own a 5mW greenie from Amazon.
I'm trying to build a project but as it's my first I want to start small as to not break expensive components. I was planning on building this:

DIY: How to Build a Burning Laser Without any Soldering! - YouTube
(I was going to solder instead of just using tape)

Anyways, I ordered the module as outlined in the video from DX: 200mW 532nm Green Laser Module (3V 11.9mm) - Worldwide Free Shipping - DX

Four days after ordering (and believing it's in stock as advertised, it goes on back order)

Anyways I'm trying to build something not to big for a first build. (however still over 100mW range).
I read over the build your own laser thread and it was very informative.
I guess I'm looking for a similar module that someone's had experience with that i could mount in an altoids tin, and later incorporate into a host with proper heatsink, but don't know where to start. I want to stay away from DX since then failed me, and everyone says they're cheaper on ebay, however i was only able to find them in the 70-80 dollar range.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Before you start experimenting, Get some 532nm safety goggles. Eaven just an accidental unexpected reflection can burn you retinas out of your eyes faster than your blink reflex can make you blink. And make sure there are no people or pets that may catch an unintended reflection.
Safety goggles are required with anything over 5mw. A 5mw can still burn your eyes, just not faster than your blink reflex!
I've got a 200mw very similar to yours I ended up installing into a Black and Decker drill driver pistol. Balloon popping dude. And 532nm lasers have the brightest in air beam.
Im just be careful man. This hobby can be a lotta fun!
Any of the chineese E-Bay stuff takes forever to ship so waiting on the backorder may not be so bad! And much of the time the power ratings are way over stated!

Thanks for the info granide. Those look good. Would they fit nicely in a C6? or similar?
And thanks about the info with the glasses. I know I'll need some once I buy a laser.
I'm looking to see if a good looking host will house the green 150mW module

you can run the green module in a c6 with the module sticking out of the host a bit with a single 16340 cell

or

use a 18650 with a extra add on piece like what i did here:
