This isn't a pretty build & I'm basically selling it to just take it off my hands, I just don't really want it anymore & someone could likely use it for parts if they don't like it,
I used a PHR-805T laser diode with a glass lens, the diode is pressed into an aluminum diode module and the diode module is inside a copper heatsink, the driver is a linear driver, ( barebones LM317 style) set at 80mA so it has an amazing life & it doesn't produce much heat at all, I can run this for 5 minutes & the copper heatsink is not even warm
The LM317 is heatsinked to copper then the tin, that also barely gets warm, I was lacking battery connectors so I opted to use a 9V since it would last fairly long at the current it's set to.
This laser has less then 1 hour use on it.
I'd like to ship it to canada or US via a tracked method but if an international buyer wants it that's fine & they can chose which shipping method they want.
Now the pictures
For those who like burning, this burns stuff, here it is smoking leather
It also burns black electrical tape, hockey tape, smokes dark wood after holding it there a long time.
So i will sell this for 20$ + shipping, that's pretty much the cost for all the parts, actually less, but I don't mind giving this at that price as its not the prettiest but it works great & there's a few great parts in it if anyone wants to disassemble it & use the parts elseware
I can have this shipped the same day someone buys it, post or PM me if your interested
