Can oarfish predict earthquakes? Maybe it's not as crazy as it sounds - NBC News.com

Just read this this morning, very interesting, or possibly scary if you live in one of the mentioned areas.

Bullshit. If this was true, we would already be able to predict earthquakes ourselves since we have lots of various devices that detect charge.

It would make more sense for the Japan and Chile quakes since they occurred on subduction faults which are located in deep ocean trenches.

Not sure how that would work for California since the San Andreas and Puente Hills faults are on land...

...Maybe those fish just hit an old mine lol?
