While I was searching for some high end laser goggles for a 445nm 10W laser I have I found these newport.com/p/N-YAD-60 can I trust to protect me from the laser?

I’m not sure, the only ones I trust with my eyes are the ones from laserglow and thorlabs. Also, why is this under welcomes

10w is 10w. Likely it will burn a hole straight through if plastic and shatter if glass. Best protection is not operating it unless it is locked down in a system that stops stray beams and light scattering. If you use good sense it should be fine. One point to remember with goggles is you can’t see the beam so that is itself an add and danger. Do all the alignment on the lowest power you can.
