can be unscrewed aixiz glass lens?

hello all,

maybe is a silly question, but i saw that some peoples already do it. can be removed aixiz glass lens from its instrument case without destroying it? I read some posts regarding this subject but I am unsure if the back can be unscrewed. In attached picture, i am seeing some small slits at the backside, which seems to be used to unscrew it. Can i do it using a screw driver?

I've never done it personally, but I'm pretty sure that you can open that up with just a flat screwdriver.

is not working. I tried with a flat screw and impossible. i think is pressed!

yea they do come off....if ur going to be doing the lens mod try soaking it in some WD-40 or some thing and loosen it up a lil, thats what i do and put some tape around it and stick it in my vice and use a flat head screw driver
