Check, double check, TRIPLE CHECK for ANY aircraft.

Even if you don't hit them, I think people in low-flying helicopters would sometimes be inclined to report it.

If I hear or see a helicopter or small plane anywhere in the area, I don't shine up.
 





Don't lase from your own property. Turn off your cell phone and remove the battery before leaving home.
