Boost Driver from 14500?

Hey everyone. Recently got an MXDL host and it only fits a single 14500... and I kind of want to stick a high-powered 445 or 405 in it because of the large head in which I can fit a decent sized copper heatsink.

But the question remains - with a 445 or 405, I need more voltage than can be gotten out of a single 14500. So, can 14500s provide enough current for a boost driver to boost voltage to 4.5 or 5.5V at 700mA or 1300mA?

Wont run for long but a flex, microboost or NJG will work for both those diodes with an AW IMR 14500.;)

But an UltraFire Li-ion 14500 won't work? I am worried about too high of a current draw.
