hmm. maybe if my grandparents decide to give me $100 to spend on lasers i might get the 300mw 638nm from lazerer unless i can get it from somewhere else cheaper :p

Alright well i ended up getting the 200mw 650. i will be sure to make the review on it as soon as i get it :D
Here is 300mw 638nm for $57.95
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32610594401.html

$38.30 for 250mw 638nm
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32637436376.html

But 638nm multimodes have very bad divergence.

Look how cheap this 200mw 660nm is:

Very good links, Koff. I'm glad people are talking about XPL more. They sell the same or better products as Lazerer, but at lower prices. This is because Lazerer has a longer chain of purchases - they probably purchase from someone who purchases from the manufacturer. XPL sells their lasers directly from the factory, which means they don't have to mark anything up significantly. :)

Oh yeah XPL's legit. My XPL 150mw 532nm has crazy divergence of 0.92 mrad. I like it very much. :yh:

WOW! That's amazing. And it's a 301, right? :D

You've got to make a full review of that! I'm sure you'll get some nice, green reputation too.

So glad I brought that company to light, it has really been a blessing for the forum.

well what scares them is the power. im not all about the brightness of the laser, otherwise i would be getting a green one. i might get a 638, as ive never had a laser in that wavelength before. this 200mw red is also not $100 like the blue. $100 might not seem much to you experienced users, but for me, i cant get a job at my age because of some "child labor" laws, and my grandparents arent willing to just give money away to fund my laser collecton. ive been running short of things to find to do that can make me moneys, but i am doing a garage sale tomorrow so i might get another $30 from that.

also if i do get a red laser, where can i find some decent blue goggles that arent $50 for a single pair?
If your grand parents aren't willing to fund your laser hobby and your to young to get a full time job. Why don't you mow lawn, wash windows and talk to your neighbors about doing odd job for them? As an old guy, who's a parent, when I saw my son showing responsibility it melted my heart. Parents/Grandparents get real understanding when they see a young person trying to do things on their own. Just trying to help, hoping the best.

Since your location says the "original" never seen before ""earth"" I can't recommend that winter is coming and as a kid how much money I made snow shoveling:)
